Wish I had my consumer reports logon to validate my assertions but it's seemingly expired.

OP, I deal with Germans at work (German software company) and they love taking in their car for maintenance at ridiculous prices (e.g. dealership). Just say no. VAG is the worst, if you have to go German I'd say go down for BMW, then Mercedes, then anything VW touches.

Don't listen to /o/ when it comes to Audis, all you're gonna hear is spouting memes about VW. I've had this exact same car for nearly 5 years and absolutely nothing went wrong with it. They're very comfortable (hence why they're called a luxury car) and the engine while not being a beast performs decently in A-B every day commute. I'd say go for it, I don't think you'll find anything better for that price.
