Honest question, why buy one of those new when depreciation hits them so hard? I'm not judging because I made the same mistake on a $110k F-type R. Last time I ever buy a new car because it dropped 30k in value over the first 10k miles.

Good luck when your battery runs out, I can just switch to a new car, crash it if I'm bored, and still have 10 cars to start my own racing team in my office's parking lot. That will show that Tesla owning basterd Larry, fuck you Mary you arnt saving the earth, you just get paid more than me.

It was $32 000 when new in 2003, but one also has to take into consideration that HiLuxes and LandCruisers are two of the vehicles that hold their value insanely well over here

I mean, my old 1998 C240 Mercedes was roughly $61 000 when new, and I sold it for $3000, and thats a much more luxurious and well equipped car than the HiLux

Yeah friend of mine worked in Norway for couple of years, had that really bad toyota habit, always drove landcruisers and hiluxes back home and just refused to pay nok prices so he got himself totaly rusted beaten up hilux, took it apart repaired everything ordered metric ton of new parts and in the end it was still cheaper than buying one in fair condition.

It's still stored in some shed in the north since he moved to ireland after low oil price wiped out half the industry in .no

Sounds familiar

I have no clue why people buy parts for those cars here in Norway. Its way, way cheaper to buy stuff internationally and have it shipped here, even with transportation costs and the 25% tax

I calculated a bit on what it would cost me when I plan to get;
>rotors and disks front
>drums and shoes rear
>complete tie rod assembly
>shocks front and rear
>leafs rear
>clutch

We're talking a good 60% cheaper compared to what it would cost me here in Norway. I'll order from Milner Offroad in the UK
