Hey guys, I know nothing about cars, and I want to buy a family car. Something like Dodge Grand Caravan size-wise.
What would be a good choice? Safety is priority for me. Budget is around $60k.

Are KIAs safe? I always took them for "that cheap shitty korean car".

They're pretty reliable, surprisingly. Tend to get overlooked for the exact reason you've posted.

they are shitty korean cars. they are horribly unreliable and kia tend to have poor safety ratings. go with a Honda Odyssey or a Chrysler Pacifica. Dodge Grand Caravans are good too. They are both really safe and have loads of features.

This. Nothing wrong with Caravans (I've owned four across various generations) but unless you REALLY need to haul tons of shit around, a wagon will do just fine if not better. Wagons can be fun, too.
