How do you narrow down what project car to buy?
I'm having a really tough time deciding between about 8 different models of cars. I want to buy something that is in decent shape but has room for improvement, budget is $1500. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, I can provide a list if that helps.
Bumping with car pictures I've taken.
Integra with JDM front end swap.

>1) brand loyalty
>2) current situation (new York vs Alaska etc)
>3) finances (probably should be #1)
>4) what vehicles you have already
>5) much feels (69 mustang, 85 crx, placecarofyourchildhood here.mpg)

How can you confuse the two?

1. Can't really say I'm loyal to any particular brand, though I really like Toyota and Nissan cars.
2. Currently in Virginia.
3. My finances are OK for a student in college with a job, but that means small budget ($1500, possibly more if I wait longer.)
4. I drive a 2013 Corolla, it's good on gas and I don't hoon it around.
5. 240SX coupe tops the list but it's nearly impossible to find one that isn't trashed that's near my budget. 200SX hatch or Celica Alltrac also come close but they're near impossible to find.

I'm not really that familiar with Jaguars to be honest.

I'm in RVA as well, what do you drive?
As to your question, I'd say I'm looking for a car that can be a weekend cruiser at first but eventually I'd like to modify it. Right now I'm not sure if I want a GT car (300ZX or Supra) or a more pure sports car (240SX or RX7). I've been struggling with that decision for about two months now.

Here's a side shot, I've got a few other pictures as well.
