I finally got in contact with the family friend that had my grandfather's 1955 Ford F-100 stored in his shed. I really don't want to get rid of it but I don't have the means to fix it up myself, and my dad who was going to fix it up is currently in prison. The guy storing it would like to get rid of it because he can't store it anymore, but we can't have it at my house.
What should I do with it? If I had the skills I'd gladly restore it, but as it stands I have minimal mechanic skills and even less money.

Dude old ferd trucks are the easiest thing to restore and make run. All you need is a basic toolkit.
Why can't you store it at your house?
If that's the fuckin truck, find space for that fucker or rent a storage space for it and store it properly until you have the means to revive it
If it's some rusted out shitheap you could use it as a lawn ornament or sell it to a boomer, no real use letting it waste away because muh grandpas truck

What specifically is wrong with it?

$10,000 says pic isn't OP's
But even a rusted out hulk is worth some good cash.

Because I don't have anywhere to put it. And I'm sure the landlords wouldn't be happy at all

Thats just a picture I grabbed from google. The actual truck is (probably) a pile of dust and rust, I haven't actually seen it in 8 years.

Its been sitting a long time, see above
>>15816484
Probably just be a good idea to sell it as an unrestored project if what you've described is what I think as in this picture above

Here's what you need to do
>Drain oil out
>Put new oil in
>If auto, make sure full of gear oil
>Get new battery
>Put battery in
>Drain old gas or put a lot of new gas in
Try to start. If the starter sounds fucked, put a new starter in. It's literally three bolts.
Also if it is rusted beyond belief, like holes and texture in the body panels and frame, it's worthless. If it just looks faded, that is what we call patina

>auto
>gear oil

Well atf, you know what I mean esé

Bag it and drag the bumper, then sell it for 30 grand. In all seriousness though its an absolutely mint, beautiful truck. try to keep it. or sell it to the right guy who respects it.

>automatic cars have no gears
