If the current owner had the car in a complete state when he bought it why are only these parts missing, unless he bough it as a parts car. Does anyone have experience with "Performance" ignition coils? I have an HEI distributor with a stock ignition coil hooked up to my nowhere near stock small block that I rev high all the time because lol 3 speed. Would a higher voltage higher amp High output coil like Accel really burn fuel better and give me a snappier throttle response and better acceleration?

I'm the retard who made threads about fixing up my 79 trans am. I just wanted to thank you guys for putting up with my autism and to give an update. My dad and I got the timing figured out and rebuilt the carburetor and she runs really good now. It's running good enough that it's my DD. Anyway, how did I do on it?
