Is it normal for parts on G6's to constantly break
Bought a 2006 almost exactly one year ago. In that time I've had to replace 2 wheel bearings, get my brakes completely redone, the fans that blow the ac and heat replaced, a few other small things I can't quite remember and my a/c JUST broke completely.
I'm beyond mad at how much money I've had to throw into it already. Are they usually this unreliable?

Yes it's normal. Why do you think they went out of business?
Get a rwd v8 car

>Complaining that a decade old car isn't new
Ok then.

>wheel bearings
Bearings are wear items what did you expect? Especially if it's a salt state car and was poorly maintained.
>brake redo
Meaning new pads, rotors, fluid? What? Brake maintenance is important.
>A/C fans
Personally haven't heard of this too often but if they're electric it's not unthinkable. Window motors and things wear out over time.
>A/C broke complwtely
Compressor siezed or switch stopped working?
Nothing too abnormal for a mid-00s GM, how many miles on it?

Fuck mane. I'm just a broke college kid. I literally emptied my savings account to by this fucking thing.

Shoulda got an 87 firebird or GTO lol.
>>15801607
Ok, how much did you pay for it? Also half of your little issues hardly affect the car, just roll the windows down if it's hot.

Too be fair I wasn't really thinking of that. But that is a good point.
I'm just salty at all the money I have to put into the fucking thing. I can barely afford gas to get to school and back let alone this bullshit

$4500 Canadian.
That's a pretty normal price for a car like this in my area.
>going to a used dealership
>ever
You're literally looking to get scammed. Not a fucking one of them can be trusted
I've had a broken ac in my car for 3 years. Stop being a little bitch and just live without if it's that big of a deal
You ever think that maybe everything's breaking because you're a shitty driver?

Yeah, makes sense. All the wear parts need service at about 100,000mi or 10 years on a GM. Wheel bearing, suspension parts, trans, ac, fuel pump, water pump, maybe even intake gaskets. It's just at the point in it's life where it needs a rebuild.
>cheap old car needs simple things replaced
Ok
Also you don't even need A/C you nigger.

Shoulda bought a big body buick. Those things are fucking rock solid.
