renting a 2014 cadillac xts with 100k miles out to a taxi driver. Given that he's going to put 50k miles on it per year and doesnt get into any accidents, how long do you think the car will last until i have to start paying alot of money for repairs?

Get all the fluids, belts, and hoses done now.

will do, but why now and not wait until they fuck up?
you think the car will last me atleast 2 years?
Yeah it'll last a long time. GM motors and trannies last a long time. Be prepared for all the small electronic gadgets to break though starting with the parking brake.

you think it'll go up to 250k miles before i pull out the big bucks from my wallet? very worried about this

Big bucks as in essential vehicle parts? Then yeah you should be good until then

Aren't you making $2,200 per month on this car? You can afford the work.

before taxes and insurance
insurance here costs me about $3,500 a year which isnt that bad compared to how much the car gets me. Thing is, i dont profit until i hit $13,000 after taxes and insurance and repairs.

this doesn't really sound like a good way to make money unless you somehow got a car for free that you can't sell and don't want to use. the amount of money you'll make just doesn't seem like it will be worth the potential hassle, like why wouldn't taxi man get a loan on one and just pay that? if he doesn't qualify for a standard auto loan or lease what makes you think he's trustworthy enough for this arrangement? it just doesn't add up to me

that pajeet will turn the car into a rolling dumpster. don't say i didn't warn you.

car rent: $540 a week
thats about 28k a year.
having one car wont make you be able to live comfortably unless you just use it to supplement your income. Having 10 cars, 20 cars however, can afford you a house in a rich white neighborhood :)

>this doesn't really sound like a good way to make money
The fuck is wrong with $28,000 per year?
>>15796649
oh ok i can see how that would be profitable. i was thinking way way less rent

i live in new york city, 28k a year is shit desu senpai but you can only get that price for the car here, doubt you could do that anywhere else, The other anon isnt entirely right though, very profitable but you need to know what you're doing, have drivers that wont fuck up your car, and invest alot of money if you wanna rack in profits early.
