My 2000 Dodge Avenger won't start right after passing an inspection. It has the change oil light on even though I got the oil changed yesterday. The battery can't be jump started but the power works.
What could it possibly be?
Your dodge avenger doesnt have a change oil light, but a high oil pressure warning light. When was the last time you changed your oil?

so you changed it yesterday, they fucked something up badly then. Change your oil yourself and dont let an oil tech touch your car ever again.

god damn, and it doesnt start? does it even crank?

>2000 Dodge Avenger
Found the problem
>>15734023
Spark, fuel, compression. obviously you're not getting one or more.

It has a low on oil light. I mean if it can pass inspection that generally means the repairs won't be that major?

Wrong
Don't buy a Chrysler product next time.
Questions that you should answer.
1. Does it crank?
2. Any CEL?
Follow up to 2.
2a. What is it?
Follow up to 1.
If yes
3. Does hitting the accelerator make a difference?
If no
4. Have you tried starting it in neutral?

Shit well it's at an auto repair place and I'll find out in the morning.

$5 bucks says you were low on oil. Or oil pump/sending unit went caput. Chrysler's predict failure and won't run if oil is too low.
>>15734216
How much will that usually cause to fix?
>>15734231
if it can pass inspection it shouldn't be much
>>15734496
Less than a grand?
>all these fucking retards ITT not realizing the Avenger is a 2G Eclipse with a Mitsubishi 2.5 V6 and still slam it for being a Dodge
>>15734568
So its a good car you think?
>>15734576
Never did me wrong
