Is it me or is do the 2003 era dodge caravan/Chrysler Town and country look completely the same?
Whenever I see either I have to look at the badges to determine what it is

THE SAME CAR

y-yes?
Dodge and Chrysler are the same company.
The interiors are the same too?

Yeah I forgot, FCA right? But why would they do the same exact car for both companies? Even the smallest lines are the same

>But why would they do the same exact car for both companies?
Because its cheaper for them.
They just slap some chrome and wood into a Dodge and then call it a Chrysler.
This one will blow your mind:
the Dodge Charger and the Chrysler 300 are also the same car.

Illusion of choice.
Why would Renault-Nissan """"""resurrect"""""" the Datsun brand to sell rebadged Ladas on the same market as originals?

Yes, though the sheet metal may be slightly different. The Routan was a disaster for VW... Fiat hates Volkswagen, so when FCA happened, it suddenly became extremely difficult for VW to source Routan parts.
Then again, it serves VW right for not selling a proper Transporter in the American market since the T5.

>Renault Captur and Renault Kaptur are NOT the same car - different platform, wheelbase, engines, etc.
