Ok guys, some of ya might remember me from yesterday. Camper guy, 2000 F53 6.8 triton V10.

Long story short
Left bank is getting spark
Right bank is not
43K mile motor.

All 10 coils are good, all ten plugs are good, all boots and carriers are good.

Is there something that can fail and leave 1 bank not firing?
>>

leads?
are they getting fuel?
>>
>>15732270
Yes, fuel and air confirmed by a cat melted shut and red hot (unburnt fuel)

This happened suddenly driving down road. Low power for a mile or two then a red hot (literally) catalytic converter.
>>
>>15732262
I wouldn't figure you'd get five coil output drivers to fail simultaneously so I'd be looking at power supply to the coils first.
>>
>>15732301
Bought a new coil to test against. All five on left bank produce spark. On right they don't. So I'm saying its a pre coil issue.

Otherwise known as power supply to the coils. The PCM grounds them you know.
>>
>>15732333
Right I was in agreement. I should say for the record I'm not working on it. I'm the tech relay for my grandfather. He asked me to look online and see if there was possibly a fuse or sensor that controls one side? We're Chevy guys so a little unfamiliar with the triton platform.

Check your ECU.
>>
>>15732363
I myself don't know the particulars of the install either but I'd be betting there's a fuse, or more likely a fusible link, for each bank too.
>>
Id look for rodents chewing wires. If you see any rat shit around the engine bay id bet you have a chewed thru harness somewhere around the left bank.
>>
>>15733072
Sorry, right bank...
>>
Check your grounds
>>
It's possible your meth lab has contaminated the cylinders. Were you snorting crystal from the intake again?
>>
>>15732262
Check that they receive power, they should have 12v with the key on engine off. Most cars injectors get 12v always and the ecu grounds them to switch them on, so id excect coils to be similar or to have a trigger wire or something.( its a COP system right?) If not start tracing the power back to where it got cut off.
