I finally re-registered it last week.


It only took 5 fucking months for Audi to mail my brother, then my brother mail me the proof it's paid off

A simple engine tune will get a load more power from it. I'm in the UK and use a company in The Netherlands for tunes on VAG stuff. They're very hard to beat.

In the UK I'd charge around £250 (approx 350USD) for the above.

After that, suspension and brakes. Suspension I'd either fit a decent coilover kit (~£1200), or failing that Eibach/H&R springs on the standard shocks(~£250). Brakes I'd look for a 3.0TDI or S4 ones second hand on eBay. They may be bigger callipers. Then some decent fast road pads and good discs.

That should all be doable for under 3k USD.

get decent rims, tint the windows and an exhaust system. maybe body kits

It'll always be a boat. You could spend that money making another car fast and use that as a comfy DD.
