They do but maserati is not ferrari. Ferrari puts in ferrari engines with shitty cam shafts to make sure they don't go as fast. But still need the maintenance costs and upkeep of a ferrari.

The 2004 to 2013 Maseratis are mostly Ferrari made. The Duo Select is terrible, the autos are much better. There's hardly any Duo Select GranTurismos in the US which is why the used price for those cars is much higher than the Quattroportes. The auto QPs hold their value a lot better because they are much cheaper to keep on the road.
