"finished" my E350 short bus Automatic-to-five speed conversion.
7.3 Diesel
Zf5 transmission
Custom two piece driveshaft, began as a single piece setup with the auto, manual trans was 14 inches shorter then the auto.
Custom fabbed pedal assembly.
Took about 3 months and 3.5 grand.

I've always wanted a project like this, how would you integrate an air conditioning system that could cool the whole cab? How did you find someone to make all the custom stuff? Is the diesel turboed or NA? Does everything work?

Naturally aspirated, I did all the custom work myself however I had the driveshaft made and balanced by a shop, he added a carrier bearing and U joint to the single piece that already matched the rear end. Air conditioning, ill have a standard setup while the vehicle is rolling on the road by the engine and Ill have a second DC compressor in a condenser unit under the floor. similar to a bergstrom nite no idle A/C that truckers use. I want to avoid a roof unit at all costs, I may make the condenser unit custom as well. I want to keep all the weight as low as possible.
Here's a shot of stock pedal assembly that I modified.
