change the oil and other fluids on a very strict schedule. don't drive it like an asshat.
>>15657603
pretty much what the other anon said, just do basic fluid maintenance, replace filters when needed, replace pads/rotors when needed, etc. Honestly you people that live outside the salt belt have no clue how good you have it. Where I live few cars make it past 150k before getting scrapped due to severe rusting problems. It's almost pointless to be diligent about maintenance when you know the damn car or truck is just going to fall apart around the still good running engine and trans.

whats considered driving like a retard / asshat?
>>15657733
i always hear this, highway miles is better on the engine than in city driving.
Is that because there is more incoming wind to keep the engine cooler as oppose to not having a lot of convection in the stop and go city miles?

Being hard on the transmission is a big one. Starts and stops should be graceful if at all possible. Also, potholes kill suspension pretty well.

I sold my 07 Camry with 140k miles on it for $4200. How the shit is that thing worth $4600. My camry had faux leather and a sunroof! And good paint and 5 years of service records!

Hard repetitive acceleration/deceleration and excessive speed, basically
puts magnitudes more stress on the drive train, suspension, and brakes
