I'm looking for a sedan that drives well.
I'm looking at 2009-11 7 series, which I can find under 25k, some 20k
Pros and cons tell me

Don't fucking do it. The last good 7 series was the e38. You want an ls430.
>>15639048
>lost over 70% of its value in 7 years
The car might depreciate, but the maintenance costs won't.

this the LS is the only large luxo barge that you can get for 20-25k and will not need double that in service in the next 6 months

Yeah just checked that now
>2k for brakes
I'll pass on the 7
What's the maintenance like on an f10 5 series?
>>15639048
Holy fucking depreciation
>>15639128
Don't fucking do it. The last good 5 series was the e39.

Get a GS430 if you want a lux sedan, or a M56, those are probably cheaper now

Past 2003 BMWs started getting really meh and fucky. If you're going to buy any luxury brand other than a Lexus/Acura you'd better get it with a warranty, because the repairs are fucking expensive.
You might want to look at a used LS460 if your first choice was a 7-series. Yeah, it looks like a Hyundai on the outside, but it's got all the features of the 7-series without regular four-figure service dates.

>le expensive parts maymay

Exclusive 500 bux per piece of plastic.
If you can buy a recent 7 series for sub 25K it's got something wrong with it.
