why do so many people care so much about a transmission?
there is so much passion either way here.
i dont care if it is a stick, or DSG or whatever.
there are more important things, like steering feel-give me manual steering! throttle response, a lot of cars do not do this very well. overboosted brakes suck, and i think that there just are so many other things on a car to worry about than the transmission.
i have 2 cars with a stick and one thats auto.
i pretty much can have fun in any of them. i DO have more fun in the manual steering cars.
feedback is better than having a clutch in my opinion.

Personally I'm all about reliability and automatics aren't really well known for being reliable. Also some shift really late, have stupidly long gears etc.
