>drive car normally
>begins to stutter while driving @80km/h
>press clutch, RPM drops below ~800, car shuts down
>release clutch, RPM climbs above ~800, car starts automatically
>if speed too low and have to start again, won't start until I press gas repeatedly which makes RPM slowly climb
Taken this piece of shit twice to the garage now but in rural Serbia nobody knows anything so I might as well ask here, not sure if the right board
pic related, opel astra 1.6 16V wagon (2002 or some shit)

Disregarding the hilarity. Did you check your filters, air and fuel? After that check your vacuum tubes. After that check your air pump. After that check your gas pump. After that get it pressure tested.

Sounds like 1 or more cylinders aren't firing dawg.

my dad took it to the garage, they checked filters and air and replaced the whole computer thingy(im not a car expert)
not 100% sure what else they did. taking it to some guy tomorrow to check pumps, thanks m8

Yes but generally it only causes the car to run rough, not die.
>>15618888
if it's a 4 banger it can, that's a lot of dead weight
>>15618741
Also check if your idle contorl motor is doing its job, its common for those to cause issues like this
>>15618892
I had a 4 banger that had a dead piston. It did not die. Ran very rough though, at idle, at speed, always, never just at 50 mph.

Check vacuum hoses for an air leak.
>>15618741
I'm thinking idle control valve, throttle position sensor, something like that. But only after checking the fuel system.

MAF sensor?
