I'd like to aks a question
If your car is so great, why do you feel compelled to modify it?
I ask this, in the context of using it as a street car only. I understand the track is a different environment, beyond the ability of most "sports cars" straight from the factory.

Wew lad. I didnt know it was possible. But they pulled it off

so why not buy the one with extra cheese and pepperoni in the first place?
>>15610732
thats not how that analogy works
>>15610732
Because the invention of a "create your own pizza" option has phased out many non specialty pizzas from the main menu.
You don't need six seperate entries for two pizzas with varying amounts of the same topping no?
>>15610732
because you can buy a pizza with extra peperoni and cheese, and add even more
>>15610732
Because pizza guys uses pepperoni you dont like as much as the pepperoni you buy from the local butcher
>>15610760
are you trying to tell me people who modify their cars just don't know when the hell to stop?
when does the extra pepperoni end?

So it's a case of people being cheap bastards up front, and making it "better" later on?
>>15610775
the amount of extra chese and pep is what separate the men from the boys

my local pepperoni dealer charges way too much per gram

Define modified. in this case, rust. rust errywhere

THE PEPPERONI NEVER ENDS.
I modify my cars because I want to. I have no reason other than I think I can improve to MY liking. Some could be things that need or may need replacing so in goes aftermarket pieces suited to my taste. For some car people it's an extension of themselves so they like to reflect that. You end up having that car for years so naturally you find things you want to change. Sure 400+hp/tq is plenty but why not 500? Sure it handles decent but why not make it handle better?
my wife loves getting her lips round the butcher's pepperoni

Every car can be improved, nothing is perfect from the factory.
Where did you get the idea that the S197 is "so great"? I got it for cheap and it's lacking in areas. Of course I'm going to modify it. And besides, I don't know of a single car that has ever come out that was completely perfect to suit everyone's needs in every area.

Because OEM parts don't necessarily have the same effect as aftermarket ones you dense cunt
