i guess ill get a trans am now and go for comfort later.
Be aware of the condition of the front control arm bushings, can make for a bumpy ride if they're worn
1.8t engine absolutely requires fully synthetic oil with regular changes
They're nice cars though

Might as well give up on the ABS working on these cars. O2 sensor may actually indicate a cat problem and the cat is right up against the engine and difficult to change.

Thanks man. If you had 3,000 for a luxury car what would you get?

yeah, i wasn't going to fix the abs, I don't even want the damn thing anymore.

I'd probably get a Volvo since they hold value like complete horse cock, or the cleanest Lexus I could find.

Your best bet would probably be an older Lexus LS or a GS. Cheap and have a large following so getting help and info on them is pretty easy.

4wd>fwd
same engine too i think.

It is. The B5.5 (2001 - 2004) Passat is decent in 4motion trim. Either the V6 or W8 (if you're cheap, avoid the W8). I'm not sure if the 1.8T comes in AWD.
I'm thinking about a W8 wagon myself, but I have a fully rebuilt drive train for one.
What should i offer this guy (CAD) for this 1999 BMW 5 Series wagon. There is absolutely no exhaust except for the headers and thats all the problems. Still unsure about whether its v6 or v8. Anything to look out for?

bmw oil changes in Canada might be costly.
