>looking at used cars
>literally all of them are missing pieces from their trunk tool kits
how does this even happen? you use the tool, you fucking put it back
>owner takes car to shop
>said shop takes trunk tools to complete own tool kit
>owner is a normie and doesn't notice or care
Also most tool kit tools are fucking worthless. If you actually use them for their intended purpose they will bend or break. They probably ended up in the trash broken.
I don't think you have your used car shopping priorities straight, op.

Those kits are cheap as fuck. Those lug tools will strip/bend easy as fuck

It's supposed to be a sign of good ownership.
>what it really means
>I've never worked on my own car or had a flat without calling roadside assistance
I really hate the jack that comes with most cars, should I replace it with a bottle jack?
>>15587897
replace it with a cell phone and AAA
Bought an mk4 gti two years ago
This weekend I had to sort out a fuse problem, no problem I'll grab my handy owners manual... it's not there it took me two fucking years to realize I don't have the fucking owners manual but I still have the owners manual from my 81 rabbit pickup
There's a tool kit in the trunk?

>15 minutes to an hour waiting on someone
>10 minutes to do it myself
I'll do it myself. Don't even have to worry about someone scratching my wheels or over torquing the lug nuts.
