Find a nearby skid pad
1. Get kicked out of every high school ever
2. Move to Japan with daddy
3. Destroy someone else's car trying to impress girl
4. ????
5. Profit
>Get a shitty underpowered RWD vehicle with a manual gear box.
>Find a secluded area with plenty of space and no poles
>Turn wheel all the way to one side, put the car in 1st gear
>Dump the clutch and smash the gas pedal
>When you start to lose angle/or start to gain traction, clutch kick to get your shits spinning again
>practice donuts, then figure eights, then clutch kick around corners around town
>get a more powerful car, go to the track, learn 2-3 gear drifts at higher speeds.

Oh forgot,
>weld the diff if on a budget
>get lsd if you have money
dont try to drift with a open diff, youll end up in a pole
Find open loose gravel or better yet, wait till winter and practice on snow in a parking lot or frozen lake.
It's really the best way to develop control with the least penalty for failure.
