Although you're right, the stock VAG 3.0 TDI can't push any model it's used in past around 260 to 270 kmh, claiming 300 kmh being supercar territory is retarded. 16 year old E39 M5s did over 300 kmh with only 400 bhp in an equally xboxhueg sedan. 175 km/h (according to gps)on the german Autobahn in a 2003 Suzuki Grand Vitara. Heavy vibrations occured around 150-155 km/h.

Didn't hit the redline yet, so could have gone further but some asshat in a 1.0l vw pulled out infront of me, so i had to brake hard, loved the nosedive though.

Depending on the state, 40mph-50mph over the speed limit turns into felony reckless driving in a lot of places. This means they can arrest you, tow/impound your car, and end up in jail til your court date if you don't make bond. And by the time you get to court, who knows the fate of your license. I'm sure they could turn it into some street racing charge too with equally shitty consequences.

I have some friends that got caught doing stuff like that but they normally get lucky and the cop writes them a $500+ ticket for 30mph over the speed limit instead of the 50mph over that they were actually doing along with a speech about being a dumb kid. If you get a cop having a bad day or you have a long record of hoonery, you better call a lawyer right away.

If you live in eastern Europe maybe. In civilized countries if they catch your driving at more than 200km/h they will send a chopper after your ass and try to stop your car by all possible means. I got a friend of mine who's a rural doctor and sometimes has to rush to emergencies before an ambulance can come. He has a radio to warn police that he's coming but one day he forgot and was caught at more than 210km/h by a mobile radar. They sent 4 cars after him and was almost held at gunpoint when he stopped. Of course after he explained the situation they escorted him to the emergency but still they would have whooped his ass if he didn't have a valid reason for speeding like this.

There is an emergency plane landing near here that also doubles as a public road. It's a long straight line and i was planning on going to test how fast my car goes sometime at night. Someone i know says he went 320km/hr at his fastest on that road with a motorcycle. I don't know the model or anything but obviously it was a powerhouse.

There is a beautiful newly build path of highway, since the other half is still under construction there is not much traffic (faster to take another route until it is finished), with fence all around so no animals, and I can just gun it in whatever whenever really so thats pretty awesome :]
