The car is awesome. i love driving it! i have installed a pod filter, forged camshaft and going to change the waterpump and timing belt soon
also im thinking of geting cp pistons, forged rods and some old retro wheels 15x9. (dont mind giving tips on wheels)
timing belt kit (get a water pump that doesn't have plastic blades tho), replace vacuum lines, coolant hoses, and check for rust in trunk sides
depending on how long it sat and if you have idling problems; blue/brown coolant sensors, fuel filter, remove injectors and rig them to spray themselves clean, clean ICV, and possible take apart your AFM for mini rebuild and clean.
pic related my e30 325i 4door that has taken a beating over the years. m20 best

A friend of mine is actually selling his and my Civic recently got t-boned, any advice on how much I should spend? It's a 4-door as well

Fancy seeing you here.
They're great cars, and they can take a lot of shit without breaking down on you, contrary to all the dank memes. Mine just turned over 290k miles, and I took it on a 5000 mile road trip across the states a couple weeks ago. Right back to DD duty without a problem (even after wrecking my shit on an uneven spot on Main st in Houston)

hard to say without seeing pics, or specs of what it is also /bmwg/ can help with value
>late model 325i 4 door, with good paint, running and driving, manual?
$2-3k+ depending on a few other factors.
>early model 325e 4 door, with shit paint, auto and barely idles?
$1-2k tops
