Hey /b im 24 yo an want to Buy a car. Btw i live in germany, Gas is a Little bit expansive Here and desu i like the autobahn too :D. I Look for a car in the middle class, i saw the Cars in USA a löst cheaper Then here, anyway but i have a budget around 4000 euros and would pay the Rest monthly, the final Price Could be like 8000-10000 euro. I Drive short and Long distances, because i Drive like 2-3 Times to poland. Now i have a Golf 4, but im 190 cm and would Need a car that is a Little bit Bigger, a car that i dont have problems in the Future, like toyota. I saw alot of good Cars like bmw m3&m5, Mercedes c&e class, toyota avensis, Volvo s60 s80, v60 v70 v80. What about Nissan, Kia, honda, Luxus? Help me to get a good car.

Thanks for caring, we still like Passat so it better is your choice, btw.
Gas is not a bit of expensive in Germoney. Anything german middle class is good for journeys and going fast. If you want to avoid problems I believe you are not wrenching on it yourselves so take anything you can afford to maintain on QUALITY (oem) parts ON TIME. Your average Toyota is made so simple it will run on anything, yet your average german car may not tolerate non oem brake pads. That raises costs a one metric fuckton. Be prepared for buying a thing thay may both: run great or light every single warning light and prevent you from driving unless you repair it for just all your euros.

> tl;dr a good BMW 5 E46, any gen Lexus IS or Honda Accord

I will buy a new car for this sort of money and this sort of use in Germany next year too

Thought about getting the best maintained, most recent Ford Mondeo st220 I could find. From what I read they are pretty reliable (well no horror stories, maybe the usual coils and eating tires and brake pads). They are great sounding cars, have a nice pull and from having test driven a couple, comfy enough for long autobahn cruising.

Might be a bit thirsty for you though, you sound like gas prices are a big concern to you.
