I drive a 2013 Honda Civic in Atlanta. Why do I only get 21 mpg?
Is there something wrong with my car or is it just the fucking weather/traffic?
I take care of my care properly and have the tires filled

If you mainly drive in the city that's your problem. I don't know what the city mph rating is on those but it's a lot less than the highway.

It's probably mostly because of your driving habits, I get 40+mpg on my Civic and that's a few years older than yours.
Just try to not brake and conserve momentum as much as possible. Also keep it in high gears. I use fifth and fourth around town and that's fine if I'm moving faster than 20.

Gas mileage sucks in the summer.
Hot air = less power = needing more revs
A/c running
Sitting at red lights more often because more people are out and about because it's summer

Yea man it's real fucking AIDS. Atlanta driving is god awful

I have a 2015 Civic SI that I drive spirited and I'm getting 27-30 all day long in town. Must be your driving habits.

How do you drive?? I have the same car and can only manage around 24 mpg.

Muh ferd

You're retarded, summer mileage easily trumps winter driving due to much shorter warm up times, non winter blend fuel and decreased wind resistance from less dense air. Not to mention hot air intakes literally increase mpg as well.

Forgot my pic, notice the dip in fuel economy in winter.

you probably floor it from light to light, learn how to take it easy literally exaggerate the time of your take offs stretch them out and keep them smooth as soon as youre over 20 let off and let the car shift into overdrive and just drive slow, you will gain 20mpg from this alone

It probably depends on where you live.
