I'd just get a clean 6 speed LS SuperSport for that instead.
>15k for an LT shitbox
what the fuck dude, you can buy a base c5 for that
not the usual shitposting US car guy, but these are awesome. theyre kinda insanely fast for such a mundane looking car and apparently you can make them handle decently. go for it

15k buys you a clean 2000-2002 firebird ls1.... tho its not a bad buy either. look around, check em out and decide

What's the difference between LT and LS?
>>15412293
the LS is better, lighter, more powerful, more aftermarket and so on
>>15412326
ls engines have more power to start but lt engines arent bad as soon as you lose the optispark. That and you Cant get the rare SLP SS with a LS engine,
Lt1s sound badass but for 15k (what I assume is maple dollars) that's 11.5 murrikans. Low miles is good but with these cars you get them, beat on them for a few years and move on. I'd be trying to find a LS for cheaper and use the extra money to mod it. You should be able to find a nice ws6 for that price or an SS too.

All these people must consider exchange rate on a Canadian care 15.6k is actually just under 12k usd
>>15412732
Still too much money for an LT1 Fbody, even for a low miles anniversary car. It might be worth considering if it was a SS as those are pretty rare.
>>15412756
in a lt car they are slp ss cars.
>>15412174
Having owned both LT1 and LS1 Camaro's go find an LS1 car OP, you can thank me later.
The LS1 has a much better power band and is way more reliable. The LT1 sounds cooler, that's it.
Fellow Ontario br/o/ here as well

You're better off grabbing a WS6 Trans Am for that price.
Are the rear seats usable? How big is the trunk? Also curious about insurance rates for head things.
>>15412174
that's worth like 7K not 15K
LS1 catfish go for 8K-12k these days
