it had a small lift and new shock absorbers
also with live axles and leaf springs all round

the gear box was just the normal 5 speed and got bearing problems
it might have pay to use a more durable gearbox but I'm not sure what types can be made to fit

an LS1 would be another level and have even less of the tires left
but they are unusual round here
the LT4 series shows up more often
but that involves gutting a C4 rather than a Toyota Celsior
