Dunno, toyotas are expensive as ever, civics have gotten more expensive, premium brands have indeed gone down because of maint costs, and cult cars (their cheap or bad years) are astronomically high.
That's in my area though.

Trucks aren't cheap. People want 7k for silverados with 200k miles on them

It's hovered around the same price range for the past 10 years here in Texas. Adjust slightly for inflation.

The price of Jeeps is fucking ridiculous though. 40 grand brand new has really jacked up the used market. People want 5k for a rusted tub of shit that will barely make it to your house after purchase. NO LO BALLERZ I NO WAT I HAVE
