What is /o/'s opinion on Dodge's 3.9 v6? Is it very easy to modify?
>pic related, my first car (truck)
Why don't you modify that gay steering wheel cover off of it?

HAHahahahaha

if you change the oil, its very likely you'll die when the truck rusts in half at 70 miles an hour on the freeway long before the engine gives you any trouble. just take normal care of it and enjoy hauling shit around.

The picture was taken when I VERY first bought it, not even my house in the pic. The stupid ass steering wheel cover was removed as soon as I brought it home

hows the underside, rust city?
>>15304754
It really isn't that bad. Not even trying to defend my little shit box, it has a very little amount of rust under it. I've only has issues with the heater core (fixed), and I have an EVAP emissions code for my check engine light. But that's about it.

paint looks good, get some buffing compound to make it like new
>>15304635
Take 3.9 out and drop in a 5.9.
Best decision I ever made.
>>15304804
Would the engine bay even fit a 5.9?
More of the truck if anyone cares
>>15304814
Its the Dakota R/T engine so yes no fitment issues
Since this seems like the place to ask, how about 318s? Are they worth a shit? I have a choice between a Durango and an 80's pick up.
I'm New to Chrysler products as a whole and have no clue what to look for in a Chrysler 8 cylinder.
I want something that won't cost me a lot of time and money to bolt on parts, as well as not being as much of a maitnence queen as my lt1 is.

Durangos have even more car parts on them than Dakotas. Go for the 1st gen Ram. Get a manual, too. That goes for pretty much all 80s and 90s Chryslers.
