Use a hammer and a jack. Can also take the forks off the struts, line up and bolt the bottom, then use a jack to put the fork back onto the strut.

If I take the strut off the new strut won't fit back in, that only works with short stroke struts and coilovers.

Driver side wheel no longer making noise thanks to the new tie rod end. Just gotta change the lower ball joint on the passenger side and shit will be cash. May or may not need a tie rod there too but I'll find out.

It's very sketchy so I hope the ball joint doesn't fall out while I'm driving the piss out of it this week.

Guys I'm having trouble with my honda breaks. My car is quite new made around 2010s. But for the last 6 months the breaks has been making screeching noise every time I make a firm press on it. I took it to the mechanic which costed me few hundreds but problem still wasn't fixed. The sound is worse on warm days and less on cold days. Anyone know how I can fix it? I'm poor with car knowledge help please.

after a good vtec rip I usually get a strong smell in the cabin, doesn't smell quite like burnt oil though. Also, I check my oil regularly and I don't seem to be burning any off. I think it's just the smell of exhaust/burnt fuel

guys does Vtec use oil?

About 1.5months ago I had the CEL come on and it gave me some Vtec code, the manual said check the oil level and sure enough it was low. I put a quart in and reset the light, but it came on again. It's been pretty hot here and the day that happened it was 110°F (~45°C). I put the oil in and the light hasn't come back. I want to change my oil but I'll probably do that when it cools down.

Just the tailgate. Somebody wanted to be a racekar so they cut out the inner metal panel of it while also cutting some of the metal that holds the latch in place. The good thing is that most of the noises that the car made was from that tailgate. Found a replacement for $30 just gotta make the time to go get it.

Ball joint is done. Threads on the upper ball joint got fucked though so I couldn't get the nut on all the way. I did get it on enough to fit the cotter pin though.
