is reddit really that cringey that it should be a considerable insult?
never really been there but i thought it was a site where you link other sites that actually have interesting content
>>
>>15225880
The site's whole content/comment system is built around burying dissent

>>
>>15225894
imagine unpopular opinions would be shadowbanned while popular opinions got good boy points

imagine trying to have a discussion where everybody wants to be close to the mainstream as possible
>>
>>15225894
The mods here don't delete every dissenting opinion, but reddit is set up specifically so that it self regulates and does exactly that. It's been demonstrated in the past that a reddit Admin can shape a discussion scarily well and given the gullible nature of the userbase anyway (sexless 15-25 male) it's a recipe for disaster.

they can but they normally get hit with the naughty stick if they delete too much stuff that gets their panties in a twist, idk why someone would even be a mod its not like they pay you, at least you get paid in gold for everyone you ban for being mod on world of tanks so you can pay to win by banning people who annoy you

yes it makes a difference you spanner, wider and smaller rims means you can have wider and taller tyres meaning your bike is capable of greater lean angles.
a bike with a 120/60-17 front and 160/60-17 rear is going to corner much better than one that has a 80/100/21 front and 120/100/18 rear could ever corner.

What am I supposed to be seeing here? Has Honda gone mediocre in the past few years? Yes. But the 450R and 250R are still solid machines for MX and the awards and popularity shows that. I'm no fan boy and I have 0 brand loyalty but you're going to have a hard time finding anything major wrong with the R series. We don't talk about the L's though.

I'm 6'3" and have ridden multiple bikes on that image, none of which felt cramped at all. Currently I'm on an er6-n which is smaller than most of the bikes on that image and it's not uncomfortable in the slightest.

Motorcycles don't need to be bulbous and fat to fit people over 6 feet tall.

I had a feeling you weren't from the US. I can't bring myself to like the Busa because it's been a meme for a long time for colords to gravitate towards the Busa. Pretty much everyone I know that has one does pic related to them and anyone who doesn't have one makes fun of them for that reason. They're like the Donks of the bike world. I guess it's not viewed like that outside the US.

Hold on a second

>10k Euros

You're in Europe and your bank doesn't consider a motorcycle to be a vehicle?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vehicle

It quite clearly is a vehicle.

>A vehicle is a mobile machine that transports people or cargo.

A bike is a mobile machine (ICE powering a wheeled frame) which transports passengers or cargo (Yourself, pillion + luggage)

Also from further down, under 'Legislation'

>Motor vehicle and trailer categories are defined according to the following international classification

>Category M: Passenger vehicles

A motorbike is a passenger vehicle.

Is they still argue, you want EU Directive 2002/24/EC by the looks of it. http://eur-lex.europa.eu/legal-content/EN/TXT/HTML/?uri=CELEX:32002L0024&from=EN

start it slow.

Setup:
>long straight road
>cover the rear brake at all times

Training
>first gear
>20mph
>clutch in
>rev it up +1000 rpm
>clutch out
>get a feel for it
>repeat with +1500rpm, +2000rpm, +2500rpm and find that sweet spot

if you do this and keep the bike/handlebars straight it's impossible to flip it or crash. Also your bike will go up inches at first and you will get a feeling for riding with one wheel.

If you're not comfy at all with it just odn't do it and don't ruin your bike.

More than just that. Exercise it. Make a habit of pressing it when you want to come down. Because for most people, their first instinct when they start to loop over is to just push the bike away instead of pressing the brake. You have to get it through your mind to just use the brake any time you want to lower yourself to break that habit.

I took a bandit 600s 2001 two days ago and now i have issues.

Whenever im on the higway for a while, my engine would stop working. No more acceleration, but it'd keep on going.

If i pull the clutch, the engine stops.

If i stop completely, the engine stops and wont start

If I wait 2 minuts, the engine starts back just fine, like nothing hapenned.

Guzzoline turns to vapor while it's in the fuel lines or float bowl, since it's already vaporized it doesn't mix with air well and you get misfires or the bike may not start.
Usually does this when the engine is hot or the gas is old.

I've heard this about some older bikes. Most people accelerate the hardest in 2nd gear and back then this was underestimated so the 2nd gear wears out rather quickly. Had the same problem on a 600r thundercat.
>>
>>15227905
Hmm, whats the fix u think?
>>
>>15227922
So basically the gear itself is worn to oblivion, got it.
I might fix it when winter comes around, doesn't really matter as the 2nd holds if you go light on it, but jumps out when you press it harder.

My old W123 300D used to do that in 2nd too and grinded like hell.

That should also be avoided, if possible.

People with no money or credit generally don't make the best financial commitments. Save a little money for an old Vulcan; don't add a factory fresh R6 to your monthly nut.

Anon don't finance a bike. The insurance will be as much as the bike. If you truly love to ride anything reliable will do. If its about having the cool looking super fast r6 you'll either wreck it or get bored ina year and sell it anyway. Learn to ride and do what you love just find a cheap bike to beat on.

I don't hold onto carbs.
But if I have a carb bike sitting that needs cleaning I clean them and don't sell the whole bike because I'm to illiterate to clean them. People make a bigger deal out of cleaning carbs than it is.

Also I got an EFI bike too but if I want a bike that happens to have carbs on it I don't mind.

You'll need to see if it's running hotter than normal, Some people clothespin their fuel lines to make it condense easier in VW Beetles.
Also try insulating the fuel lines. Stop and go traffic is murder on air cooled heads.

I wouldn't purposely sell a bike because it haves carbs. When I rode dirt bikes they were all carb. But when it comes to a street bike I prefer EFI and wouldn't buy a bike without EFI. EFI is too convenient not to have on a street bike.

And you're right cleaning carbs isn't a big deal but then again I only cleaned my dirt bike carbs when I got it cuz the owner let it sit. I never had to clean em again after that.

>I'm not saying carbs are unreliable but EFI is more reliable kek.
By that same token, i would never say EFI is unreliable but i personally don't like the idea of sensitive electronics controlling my vehicle for me.
If one sensor goes bad it changes the entire way the ECU runs.
I hit a bump in a Golf and it literally shut down the car because the speedo sensor borked.
However, i hit a curb going 70 on my bike, it landed with enough force to sever a braided steel oil line. It knocked the carb assembly sideways about 7mm, and it had a vacuum leak because of it. a $4 hose clamp literally solved the problem. Carbs will work forever if you take care of them.

>but muh cold starting
My car literally has no choke on the carbs and starts on the first crank below freezing, not that i would drive it with salt on the ground.

Sensor goes bad. Replace it. Dealer can tell which sensor is bad if it throws an engine light.

Carb gets dirty or whatever. Rebuild/sync

Same shit just much longer service intervals if at all on the efi.

Is the fuel tank vent blocked?

When ot happens next time, open the fuel tank and listen closely when you open it. If you hear a release of suction it is blocked and thus preventing free fuel flow to the carbs.

If you cant hear it. Just open the fuel tank and try to start it. If it starts its the vent creating suction in the tank.
