The Chrysler super-car was forced-canned by Daimler (chrysler's then owner) because i think it would've been a better super-car then what was coming out of Mercedes at the time for a cheaper price.

There were some other cars canceled by Daimler as again, it could've upstaged Mercedes.

As for the Cadillac Cien i don't know that car's story. i wish Cadillac even now would make some kind of super-car with that new twin-turbo V8 they are developing.

To further add to my comment: The Ford GT because that car certainly caused a stir in the super-car market and was highly desirable. it also matched the Performance of other super-cars of its time for a much cheaper price.

Basically what i;m trying to say is we've might not have even seen the Ford GT be produced if Ford was owned by another Manufacturer that specializes in super-cars like Fiat (because it would've upstaged Ferrari/made some of their cars seem less impressive)

Cadillac had an amazing string of concept cars in the mid 2000s. NONE of them went to production.

The only Caddy concept of the last few decades that ever really made it into production was the Evoq, which became the XLR. Still my favorite Cadillac.
