The young automotive community is cancer. It's always young kids in HS or college who bitch about choice of a transmission because they think driving a manual makes you manly or cool. It's just embarrassing, women in Europe drive stick and don't give a shit.

i have owned both a manual and automatic frs

i own a manual kit car
a dual clutch evo
and have had lots of automatic cars

manual was better in the frs but fealt like a major chore that i in no way miss by buying a way faster automatic car

so consider that shit

I dont think its particularly manly but its the better mire enjoyable choice. And here in the US every driver rowing their own is one less with a phone surgically attached to their hand or another BigMac being shoved down their throat.

I would have thought the opposite. I have way more fun driving a slower manual car than an automatic fast car. I can row thru the gears and have fun without breaking the speed limit.
