You never really hear much about these. What does /o/ think about

Decent for a daily driver, can be kinda quick with mods, can get a really clean one for pretty cheap also. Seems as if mazdaspeeds kinda fly under the radar and dont really get hit with ricer tax.

The MS Miata, MS3 and MS6 are all taxed to shit where I live, though admittedly the MS6 generally starts at the lower end of the spectrum (assuming you can find one)

They have pretty shitty reliability. Buddy went through two engines on a mostly stock one, another guy bought a clean one used and was sinking at least 500 a month into fixing shit. I like the idea of them though

I own an '06 that some retard blew the motor out of. Guy who had it before me bought it from the retard and swapped a 2010 MS3 engine into it. I have a CPE CAI, full catless exhaust, stage 2 clutch and short throw shifter. I daily drive the bitch and love it. Do I need to do my rods and pistons with that shit done or am I still ok?

I'd say with those mods youre okay on stock internals. just dont push the boost too high.

That's her clean side. The other side's fender and bumper are damaged, and the front splitter is fucked from hitting a chunk of dirt at 60 mph. All stuff I plan on replacing this summer. You'll also notice that the front and back rims are different. They're mismatched from the MS6 and donor MS3 that the engine was from. I got all 4 of both sets with the car, idk why it was set up this way but I've been too lazy to change them back when it's cold out. It's starting to get warm and I've got a slew of parts ready to go, LETS GET READY TO RUMBLE

All the mods were done by previous owner. I've done some research and it looks like the intake and exhaust together would run you about $1800ish. It sounds like a beast though.

If there ever was a wagon alternative, it would be my absolute dream DD.
