i own a 99' subaru legacy 2.5
was really considering putting on a 1inch lift kit, any recommendations on who to buy the springs from?
particularly anything priced less than this
http://get-primitive.com/suspension-lift-kits/139-king-springs-1998-2002-forester.html
also, where the fuck do i buy the foglights
>>14862721
Just get outback suspension dumbshit
Why do you want to lift it?
>>14862728
well one, to offroad a bit
i dont see why it's called an "outback" if its sitting on the ground
and two, so its easier to work on. I cant even drive it on ramps, it'll just hit the bumper
>>14862727
okay, please inform me on where i buy the outback suspension
>>14862740
>what is an outback
>what are jack stands
>>14862770
maybe you're misunderstanding me
i'm looking to purchase lifted springs for my outback 2.5
where do i buy them
>>14862785
>i'm looking to purchase lifted springs for my outback 2.5
Then why the fuck did you say you had a Legacy and post a picture of a Legacy?
>>14862823
it's a legacy outback 2.5
i assumed everyone knew that a 2.5 legacy is an outback
>>14862828
The 2.5 legacy is the Legacy GT
What you're thinking of is the Legacy-Outback, which is basically a lifted legacy with different ground effects
>>14862844
you're right, my mistake
can i still lift it?
>>14862844
This, plus you posted a picture of a Legacy GT. And you don't even need a Legacy GT to have a 2.5, most legacys have the 2.5.
>>14862869
i guess i got confused researching it before i bought it
it was listed as an outback, and theres so many different models for the 1999
but yes, it's just the legacy 2.5
>>14862879
Then just get Outback suspension from the junkyard or ebay. Cheap, easy OEM lift
>>14862895
yea i heard most of them are scrap now, maybe i can get lucky with pick-a-part or something

is this what im looking for? and will the stock springs on my own legacy be alright, or will i still need to find springs
>>14862932
Those are just the struts, they're not what you want
You want to find the control arms and all those little bits in between the body of the car and the wheels.
>>14862987
fuck, i have to do the control arms and shit too
alright, ill look around, thanks
>>14862987
>>14863000
I dont think he needs the control arms, just the springs and struts. Look on Legacy/outback forums for the info, that will also be your best bet for getting all 4 struts together
>>14863016
Yeah I guess it's mostly the shocks and springs and all that junk. Depends on how high he's lifting I guess
>>14863023
1 inch at the most
like I said, I just want it to go over shit without scraping. I hate how low it is
>>14862785
MOUTH BREATHER ALART!!!
>>14863100
you caught me
>>14862828
A 2.5 legacy could also be a legacy 250t
>>14863066
I like how low mine is, mainly because I have a pickup for off-road and this is my street machine
