There's a shit ton of used z32 300zx in the market and we got the best version of the s14 240sx that pops ocassionally in the classified ads and there's a good amount of unmolested s13 out there, also if you look around enough you can find nissan hikaris that came with a turbo.
There's a lot of 2000s era MR2 around 7k USD.
Also manual NC miatas are cheap as fuck now since everyone are buying the ND.
Yeah there arent old subies or old mr2 or NB miatas but you make it sound worse than it is.
There are also some vr6 jettas and golfs that are fun as fuck.
The only bad thing is that most workshops are shit and you have to go T a big city to get your car worked on without getting scammed.

Fuck you, it's a sedan that weighs less than a Miata, has a pretty nice feeling manual transmission and can be fixed by a Mexican with moped parts over a 15 year service life as a taxi in DF. If I could buy one here, I would. An engine-swapped Tsuru would be an absolute blast with way too much power in such a light platform and fwd.

You can import them through coahuila legally now, its not just cars with vins starting with 1-4 anymore.

Also there's not much info out there in the Internet and i remember it being a state only thing and you'd get your car crushed if you took it out if that state.

You can, and you can also take it out of the state

in coahuila you can import and do the whole nationalization process so you can get it plated, once it has coahuila plates you can just take it wherever you want, and replate it in your own state.

Once the car is nationalized, there is nothing the police can do about it as long as it is registered as what it actually is, which can be done now.

Previously people imported them and nationalized them as work vehicles/trucks in order to get them plated, which is illegal, but now that you can directly import and do the whole nationalization process in coahuila, you'll be 100% legal.
