Parking in reverse is actually more accurate to do. A forklift also steers with its rear wheels with its front wheels fixed and going in reverse basically emulates this. You can pack it in in a single swoop that way.

Perpendicular to kerb spaces I usually back in but sometimes I pull in when it is convenient to do so and to back in would require more movements than usual.

Backing out of a space like that you often can't see anything because of SUVs and shit parked adjacent. With the height of utes these days they block vision also. It seriously gives me the shits when I'm the only car and I have to stop for a car backing out and it's a man. People shouldn't be taking a leap of faith everytime they pull out into traffic.

When I back into a space like that I can easily use my mirrors to ensure I'm in the middle. Pulling in it's actually not as easy to get it bang in the middle
