How often do you change/flush your trans?
I got almost 60k miles and my car is starting to "jump" alittle from 1st-2nd gear. Not all the time tho
Automatic trans btw

You realize that's Kia's Korean market logo, right?

Cool. Im going to look up what the manufacturer says but i wanted to see what other people do

I like this logo better than the KIA logo. What a shame it won't fit in the oval indentations on the car.

Its a snapchat from a non-carguy friend lol

Ah, gotcha.

There's oval badges for sale as well.

Maybe I have to look around.
The multi color design with the full name spelled out was what made it cool for me.
Im not as drawn towards the K like that one.

I saw one of these at school, couldn't figure out what it was. Slightly interesting.
Does /o/ like Kia?
Flushing is bullshit but a nice moneymaker for shops. A fluid change will sufficiently dilute the small amount of remaining fluid so that it isn't a problem.
What I do recommend is adding two quarts of Lucas transmission fix to your fluid. Drop the pan, change the transmission filter (do not be horrified by a few crumbs), add a quart of your correct ATF, two quarts of Lucas, then top off with ATF.
I've used their stuff for about twenty years and unless you run your trans so long it slips quite badly, Lucas will typically get you a couple of years more out of the transmission. Seals fail first which causes slipping which wears clutch packs, and Lucas improves internal sealing. We used it at my bros used car lot and on many personal vehicles. Best save was my uncles minivan which would barely shift. He was on vacation near me and limped in. We were ready to swap trannies but I did the filter change w. Lucas and it not only shifted fine, it survived a couple more years until the body rusted to destruction thanks to Michigan salt.
Two quarts, any trans. Don't wait to do it because slipping kills trannies.
I also use pure Lucas in my Harley manual trans (big twin so it's separate from engine oil). Those are pretty tolerant but shift a bit more smoothly.

Awesome. thanks
I used Lucas oil treatment in my old car (chevy cavalier) and beat the piss out of it. Everyone swears Lucas is the shit.
