I was a passenger. There was a bend on the highway and the front wheels slid and the driver steered too much and we slammed into the wall. Bounced off 4 or 5 times. Scariest shit of my life im not speeding for a couple years. Seatbelt saved my ass i would be dead if i wasnt wearing it.

This happens everywhere all the time tho doesn't it? Younger drivers want to test the capabilities of their rides. Pretty much every 2nd or third time I go for a drive I see someone blasting down the road at double or triple the speed limit. Shan't say I haven't done it myself either.

We have all done something stupid at one point in our life, but there's a range of stupidity. The last time I floored it was when I was 21. I was on a rural road that ran between two farm fields. I picked that road because I knew I'd be able to see anyone coming from miles away, and because there were no houses or anything on either side. Plus it was level so if I lost control I wouldn't hit a ditch or a tree or anything. And I floored it. And I got my shitbox up to 170kmh before I ran out of road.

But I would never do that kind of shit on a highway, with turns, and that other people would be using. And certainly not racing with other cars in a group. All of that shit significantly increases the risk of hurting someone else.

And I sure as fuck would never do that stuff with PASSENGERS in my car. At the very least, I'd be LEGALLY responsible if they got injured and I could go to prison. At worst, I'd fuck up someone's life forever or possibly kill them.
