Just bought one of these. 2015 Mitsubishi Mirage. How bad did I do br/o/s?

It's a modern Geo Metro. Do you like the old Geo Metro's? You better. You have the exact same power to weight ratio now.

All of that Thule Dad rice.

There's a lot people complaining that they don't quite stand up to it's competitors in the way of power, mpgs, fun, etc.
I think it's a solid little cute thing that's maybe $1,000 overpriced.
Op here. There's currently a $3500 rebate from Mitsubishi so I got the car for $10.6k with only 27 miles. Running around Chicago I've been averaging about 39 mpgs. On the expressway I've seen 46 mpg. There's no power to speak of, which is fine in Chicago traffic.

The only real competitor at its price is the Nissan Versa. The Versa may be faster, but I'll take the more reliable Mirage every time.

Pretty fucking bad. Like, literally the worst car currently on the market kind of bad, apparently.

>Mitsubishi more reliable than Nissan
I think you're entirely wrong, I'm just not sure because nobody I know has ever owned a Mitsubishi.
>>14699186
>mpgs
Who claimed that? It's pretty much the best thing out there that isn't diesel or a hybrid.
Bretty gud, senpai. I want to turbo one!

Nissan's CVT transmissions are NOTORIOUSLY unreliable. Hearing stories of 4 being replaced before 100k are common.
I live down the street from a Nissan dealer and there's cars there every day for a transmission replacement.

I get annoyed when americans post in a Mitsubishi thread.

He says against the company that dominated the Dakar rally.
Pretty fun car, super lightweight, lowest drag coefficient, actually good looking hatch spoiler, quality headlight projection in open not-so-angry eyed headlamps. I only wish it has wider tires off the lot. For its weight it doesn't really need the extra traction but I think it looks better on the car.
Also the "mirage evolution" or r5 mirage rally car is an excellent machine and shows potential in the car.

When I see the >Mitsubishi >reliable meme I immediately know that poster is from North America.
Has a cute hood.
>>14701547
Why is that anon?
Is it because their North American products are garbage?
Post moar mirage
>>14701557
>Is it because their North American products are garbage?
Bingo. That said, the Mirage, both new and old were/are reliable. The biggest cars to contribute to Mitsubishi's unreliable reputation in America were also their biggest attention-grabbing sports cars, the Eclipse and 3000GT.

They don't make anything worth buying.
>inb4 l200
Fucking junk.
Pretty much the modern Geo Metro right now except with some modern amenities and better crash safety.
It's one of the few cheap cars on the market that's truly honest about it's intent of mad mpgs, whats to hate?

I would love having a Pajero, that said, I'd still rather have a Suzuki.
