My friend is selling an 02 Bugeye WRX for 1.5K he says theres a problem with an exhaust valve after he got the heads replaced. /o/ does 1.5K for a WRX seem a little low for something like a valve problem? what else could be the case

Does the car run?
You should find a new friend
>>14689099
why don't you ask your "friend" what's really wrong with it?
>>14689099
That is incredibly low. There is something seriously wrong with that car and you should stay far away OP.
>>14689099
Never buy someone else's hotrod. It's probably all kinds of fucked up, OP.

Subarus have two cylinder heads you colossal dumbfuck

If the body is good and you plan on doing a fair bit of work to fix it then go for it.
If your looking for something turnkey then no.

1.5k seems like a decent candidate for a STi swap if the rest of the body is in good shape. Hell worst comes to worst you can part the car out and make a profit.

I'd buy in for 1500 OP...I'd also be aware that I'd be probably looking at least $5000 in repair/overhaul...
The good stuff is never cheap/free...
Rolling shells usually go for a little over $1k, that's not that bad if the interior is decent.
>>14689099
Run far away OP, that's way too cheap and so the car is undoubtedly fucked.
>>14689099
Never buy a car from a friend if you value the friendship. If it turns out to be shitty it could cause animosity.

>The good stuff is never cheap/free...
it is if someone's been shot and killed in the car
>them cheap landbarges with bullet holes at police auctions

This.

If you want a project, that's a decent price for a non-runner that hasn't been sitting too long.
If you want a car you can drive without significant effort/funds to fix whatever's wrong with it, get something else.
