Hello /o/ I don't browse here too ofter, I want your advice on whats a good second hand car I could get for £2000 or £3000 max.
I would like anything that can take me from A to B, which doesn't consume that much, or like a family car if it gives you any ideas so 4 doors.
If you also got a link online that would help, maybe gumtree to that car?

To be fair, that chart is literally useless to Brits.

2 or 3 grand can buy you a fair bit of choice, OP. What sort of thing are you looking for?

Have you considered a valve s40 2009ish? They're very reliable, practical and good looking. Plenty in the UK. Engine wise either pick the 2.0d for economy, the 2.5t for fun (it does come in awd but that's rare).

How old are you and how long have you had your licence? These are important factors. If you're over 20 and have been driving for a year or so, something like an Accord or a Mondeo would see you right. Or a Rover 75, actually - prices are super low at the moment because of old man stigma and that the petrol engines have a (somewhat deserved) bad reputation, but the diesels are pretty bulletproof and you could net a very nice low mileage example within your budget.

If you'e a newer driver, yeah, you'll be wanting something more like >>14678469, or a Fiesta or a Clio or whatever. Just buy whatever small hatch you can find in good condition, none of those cars have much to recommend them over any of the others, really.
