I call a car a she because it's a vehicle, and men have been calling ships shes for almost a fucking millennia now. That being some of the most original transportation.

Not exactly. There is no grand ol' tradition of referring to ships in a particular way. In Russian, most nouns are gendered, so it just depends on the particular kind of ship - a steamer or an aircraft carrier would be a "he", while a submarine or a barge would be a "she".
Same goes for cars, except it's a much bigger clusterfuck - "car" is feminine, "automobile" is masculine, and foreign manufacturer and model names are whatever they sound more like (e.g. "Mercedes" is always referred to as masculine, despite originally being a female name)

The stud design on those are brillia tho. Put perhaps a good 22 000 miles on my Hakkapeliitta 7's with easily 90% of the driving being on tarmac due to where I've been studying. Studs still have their shape, it reduces noise, improves the grip of the tire itself, is less taxing on the road and is more economical

I've seen a set of Bridgestones where the studs were all turned to just round pieces that also sat way too far inside the thread to do anything after only two winters with driving on just about only tarmac
