How much should I pay for an original, low mleage '81 BMW 320i sport?
Been looking for a good handling car that's not Japanese. Pic kinda related.

Not your personal army
3k at most
up to like 5k if it is in really really tidy condition
move aside
If it's in good condition, and by good I mean fucking pristine, you shouldn't dish out more than 5k. Frankly I'd recommend a 325i but to each his own.

How much can I find a decent condition Mini Mark 2 in the UK for? I dont want my first car to be a nissan micra or some shitbox, but I realise that it wont be something sexy like a 964 cabriolet.
What other "old" cars are there that look nice and are cheap.

Elise shouldn't be that unreliable now. I mean it's basically a stripped as fuck car with a toyota engine in it

If it's really absolutely mint, you're looking at 20K+ for "classic icon" status. If it's 80-150K miles, you should be able to get it for less thank 5K

Yes that is true, and also most of the metal in the body is the aluminium monocoque, so you shouldn't have many problems with rust on the body, Its a lightweight sports car which is pretty much rust free, and it has an extremely reliable engine these days... It is a purists dream, a dream car of mine for sure.

The old Triumph roadsters are cheap in America, so i imagine they're even cheaper in the U.K.
