Literally a fancy civic. Costs will be pretty much identical. More expensive tires though. Tax might be more since it's a "premium" brand

niceu
OP here, probs should've mention that im looking around the 100,000 mi range how much should i expect to pay?
>>14606836
Fucking Google it. Nada/kbb, autotrader average price at the bottom of the list.

Beware of oil consumption on type s models, at that mileage. after an oil change. it will literally burn through all the oil after 5k miles.
>>14606867
>Not changing your oil every 3000 miles
>>14606876
Nah its probably got a 7.5k interval. 5k is long enough.
>>14606867
Vtec Hondas burn oil.
Can confirm
>>14606886
the maintenance required light comes on after 5k miles, most acura rsx owners that bring them into my dealer push it father than that. I had a kid come in who had a nice 06 types. The oil light was on hard when he came in. He had went 8k without an oil change. Spun a rod bearing a few days later after servicing it. The kid was a douche and drove the car really hard so I found it pretty amusing.

Several were stolen in my area last summer. Be carefull OP, install a kill switch or something
>>14606966
rsx has an immobilizer that is not easily by passed. likely taken on a flatbed.
>>14606918
Wrong. According to the manual it's a 10k interval. So the light blinks at 7500 and comes on at 10k.
>>14607025
5k for the severe schedule.
>>14607025
we are both wrong but you were much closer, i should have know that tho desu
Would I be a fool for importing a dc5 Integra to the UK? willing to spend 10-12k and I am very bored of my Fiesta ST.
>>14607083
why would you do something like that when you have civic type r's?

trash
The regular rsx is gutless. If you get a type s with 100k miles on it, you better find a one owner car driven by a mature adult. Otherwise its probably going to be beat up on. I owned a 2002 Type S in my late 20's early 30's. Very fun car. I just did intake, exhaust and did the hondata ecu tune. Was a rocket ship when the vtec kicked in. When i got tired of the power i upgraded to a Subaru WRX Sti.

I see far too many of them on the road here. I'm just toying with the idea, I haven't really given it much thought.
