Does the owner know your in the USFS?

If not, you could try to argue about the color being ugly and lower it to 4000-4500

I find the paint color fantastic actually, I'm only suprised that it was offered in such a year for such a vehicle. Looks like they found some paint cans from the 60s in the factory.

I haven't contacted the owner yet. The paint was custom done on USFS trucks up until the last few years. So the truck was never available with that color in a dealership.

Also the engine is the inline 6. I'm gathering that this is a pretty solid engine. Also looks clean.

idk if it's worth $4800 for a base model. I think $2000-2500 is a better price for that truck.

I don't really know much about fords, so can't really help with that.

The TTB front axle is kinda shitty and will eat tires if it's not aligned correctly.

i also like the paint color...

I'm a chevy guy and $4800 would get you a nice fleet 2500hd that is twice the truck that f150 is, but I guess it depends on what you're need from it. That F150 will get decent gas mileage(about the same as a tacoma or smaller truck) and will haul a sofa or a tow a 5000lbs trailer if you need to. It won't tow 12,000 up eisenhower pass or carry 4000lbs in the bed though.
