Most grills I've met are just into flashy. One said her favorite car is a "bmw m3 turbo" but the bitch didn't know shit about anything because she just wanted me to like her.

I don't think all girls who like cars are fake about it, but there is a decent number of them who are only in it because it's a way of getting attention. It sets them apart from other girls because they're "just one of the boys!"

My female cousin can barely drive, and had a really shit driving instructor, so she has bad habits now, and gets really nervous when driving.
This girl is in her early 20s and went and bought a fucking F30 3 series as her first car.
I haven't seen it yet, but my family did, so I know it's an F30 since they pointed it out in the street.

My ex makes bank, has a masters, etc.

She had the chance to buy a GT-R for $39,500. Tried to tell me it was a stick.

She ended up buying a Benz for $65k because it was "more comfy".

She's nearly wrecked it twice since I've known her, busted various things and spent a shit ton of money to keep it on the road despite its value completely nosediving.

She couldn't tell me how much horsepower it had, how heavy it was or if it had a turbo or not.......but she maintains that she knows a lot about cars because she worked on them with her dad when she was a kid.
