If it is nearing 100k you are looking at a timing belt and possibly clutch service that you must factor into the purchase.

If it's imported but not yet registered chances are the owner fucked and it is going to cost a lot of effort/money to get it registered.

You probably cannot do this yourself but if you let an auto-electrician go through it and he tells you the wiring is all messed up and an altogether botched job, it is one of those used imports that had a whole previous life in another country.
