I'm awful at picking fonts.

Slap design:

Standard white background. Directly in the middle a red, filled in design of Ohio. Then the words "GOOD" and "MORNING" on either side of the design in thick, black sans-serif script. So it's reminiscent of the Japanese flag, it's simple and clean, but also has a little bit of a secret nod to the weebs.

I think it's on its way though. The border definitely looks better. Try changing the heart back to red and the runes to black. Not this one. It's a largely broken appliance. The wiring is literally melting inside the frame of the car causing all kinds of electrical malfunctions. It's an autotragic because I inherited it from my mom who doesn't drive manual. FWD on top of all that. It's literally the embodiment of everything I hate in a car. I have never even seen one fixed up and tuned go over 225 HP and mine currently is putting down I'd estimate 110-125. Even if I bothered swapping out for newer spark plugs and some fuel cleaner I'd only recover 10Hp at best.

That's a good visual representation of my idea. You could tackle the spacing in a few ways.

-Making Ohio smaller and centering it.
-Keeping Ohio the same size, centering it, and accepting that "morning" is going to be asymmetrical and closer to the edge.
-Kanji (you could still do the English either smaller inside the Ohio design or smaller under the Kanji in parenthesis) although that kind of ruins the subtlety.

I guess the whole thing is whether it's more important for it to look like the flag or to have symmetry. To me the flag part kind of makes or breaks the whole design.

I haven't calibrated any of my monitors, I really wanted to pick up a spyder and do that on my monitors but I figured they were too shit to do it with forgot about that years ago. I'm actually using a broken monitor for my workstation computer (the one I'm sitting at right now) since it was lying around and all I'm supposed to be doing is cutting/printing from it. Well as the Ohio slap demonstrated even simple, minimalist designs take fine tuning to look just right. The spacing, the font, shading, shadowing, color choice. All that shit that a normie would barely notice, but as a total package it ties everything off. It's the difference between getting a professional outcome and getting like 90% of the OC that comes out of /osg/. He's got an ANAL level of attention to detail and it shows. For what it's worth I think it's getting better. I think changing font proportions might help. Make the team name the focal point by centering it vertically and then decreasing the font size of the runes on the next line. And switch the colors of the text and track. White pops better off the teal and we want the text to pop.

Durability is dependent on a few factors, where you stick it and the size of weeded (the process of removing excess vinyl from a cut) objects is a big factor.
